My Story

I’ve always been active as a kid. I played football almost every day with my friends till I got discovered by a kayaking coach during one of my PE classes at age 11 a loooong time ago in 1998. That was the first time I got into organized training, and with a few short breaks over the last 20 years, training and keeping an active lifestyle have been my passions and favorite pastimes.

Unfortunately, after 5 years of training and becoming one of the top kayak sprinters in Poland in my age group, I got burned out and started pursuing a different sport which was basketball. Unfortunately again, there weren’t many opportunities to play basketball competitively where I grew up, so my highest accomplishments in this sport were playing for my middle and high school.

After that, during my university years, I tried playing American football. I really enjoyed that sport and the whole atmosphere, but right after I finished my degree I got an opportunity to go and live abroad so I had to quit football since there was no way I could ever support myself playing that sport in Poland. During my first few years living abroad, I was just partying and training very sporadically without any purpose. I was alone and away from my family so my priority was socializing. I lost a lot of strength and stamina. I started smoking, drinking alcohol and going to sleep very late on a daily basis, thanks to my new profession – bartending.

At around age 25, I grew sick and tired of this lifestyle. I had low energy, and I had lost weight and my athletic look. I needed a new purpose; a new goal to pursue and a new career to disconnect myself from that old lifestyle.

I grew up watching a lot of 80s action movies, so one of my dreams as a young boy was to achieve a physique similar to Stallone’s and Schwarzenegger’s. I always knew that it takes a lot of time and sacrifice, but I wasn’t ready for that before. At that time I thought I knew everything about training since I’ve had somebody training me since I was 11, but when it came to lifting weights and shaping your body, I came across a lot of obstacles. It wasn’t as easy and straightforward as I thought. I started educating myself and seeing better and better results. That was also a time when I thought to myself “the only thing I really enjoy doing while benefiting myself is training. Why not make a living like that?”

After that, I enrolled and finished a personal training course (Level 3 Master in London, UK). And again, the beginning wasn’t easy. You can train yourself very well but when it comes to other people, you have to learn again how to do it properly. Everybody’s different. People have different motivations, different commitment levels, they respond to exercises differently and so on. There’s a whole science behind training people. The more experience you have, the easier is to find a solution for each individual on how to help them accomplish their goals while not having them make sacrifices like professional athletes.

As a trainer in London, UK, and Toronto, Canada I was blessed with the opportunity to work with hundreds of people of all ages, all ethnic and cultural backgrounds and all types of goals. I gained a lot of knowledge, but I’m also aware that there’s always something new you can learn and I want to give my clients the best, cutting-edge solutions to achieve their goals faster, in an enjoyable way. I want them to take better care of themselves, whether it’s their physique or well-being goals.

During the last few years, I also started training boxing seriously and actually pursued an amateur career in this sport in Canada with the goal to become a pro, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out. Nonetheless, I’ve had a few accomplishments in this sport, including two bronze medals in Ontario Golden Gloves, a silver medal at Brampton Cup and a few other fight events that I won.

I call myself a holistic personal trainer because with my knowledge and experience I can help you with shaping your body, teaching you the basics of boxing and basketball, helping with the mental aspect of training and motivation and also improving your nutrition. With my help, you’ll feel great you look great and you’ll always be full of energy – basically becoming a beast🦁 and crushing your every goal!
